Who can purchase a TCF Visa Gift Card?

Anyone with a TCF Checking account may purchase gift cards. You must use your TCF account number and other account information to pay for your purchase and shipping and handling charges.

The TCF Visa Gift Card can be used to make purchases everywhere Visa debit cards are accepted, at millions of Visa merchant locations. The TCF Visa Gift Card cannot be used at ATMs or to obtain a cash advance.

Is there a limit as to how much value the TCF Visa Gift Card can have?

Yes. The initial minimum value the TCF Visa Gift Card can have is $10 and the maximum value is $500.

When do the cards arrive?

The cards will normally arrive within 3 to 5 business days after the order was placed. The cards are delivered with Terms and Conditions to be given to the individual recipients at the time you present the gift cards.

Gift recipients can review their current balance online free of charge through this website. Gift recipients can also call toll-free 1-866-309-4933 to receive balance and transaction information.

Does the gift recipient need to sign an agreement?

Every order is distributed with Terms and Conditions for each card purchased. This agreement fully explains the Terms and Conditions regarding the use of the card and the fees and charges associated with the card. The gift recipient accepts the Terms and Conditions by signing the back of the card, using the card, or by purchasing the card if the recipient is the same person as the purchaser.

Will I be charged a cash-advance fee if I purchase a TCF Visa Gift Card online?

Does the TCF Visa Gift Card have an expiration date?

Yes. The Card and underlying funds expire on the "Good Thru" date printed on the front of the Card. We encourage you to use the entire amount of the card before it expires.
