Direct Deposit is a free, confidential and timesaving service that automatically deposits your paycheck into your account.

Your employer simply deducts from your pay the amount you specify (up to 100%) and sends it directly to your TCF checking or savings account(s).

Your deposits are available to you on the business day TCF receives your deposit, accessible through ATM withdrawals, checks written, or through use of your TCF Check Card.

All without stopping at the bank.

Direct Deposit is available for any of the following payments:

• Payroll checks (If your Payroll Department does not offer Direct Deposit, ask your employer to consider it.)
• Social Security Benefits
• Supplemental Security Benefits
• Railroad Retirement Checks
• Civil Service Retirement Checks
• VA Compensation & Benefits
• Military Pay & Pensions
• Federal Salaries
• Dividends
• Pensions

To sign up for Direct Deposit of your federal payment by phone, call the federal agency listed below.

• Social Security or Supplemental Security Income payment, call (800) 772-1213
• Civil Service Retirement payment, call (888) 767-6738
• Veterans benefits payment, call (800) 827-1000
• Railroad Retirement payment, call (800) 808-0772 (or call your local RRB office)
• Requests for direct deposit of your federal or military salary will be handled by the federal or military personnel office.
